How to Play
Car Rush is a free 3D arcade racing game that runs in your browser โ no download, no sign-up. Every race throws you into a pack of 19 cars on a twisting track of half-pipes, tubes and loops. Your car accelerates on its own; you steer โ drag left and right with the mouse, or use A/D or the arrow keys โ to slip past traffic, hit the striped boost pads and climb the live ranking. Finish anywhere but last and you win the race and its coins: 40 for first, 32 for second, 26 for third and down from there. Spend them in the garage on 18 cars and on ten levels each of Speed, Handling and Booster. Four tasks and five free coin rewards keep the upgrades coming. Each race picks one of six tracks at random and takes about a minute. The game opens in Japanese automatically for Japanese browsers, and you can switch between English and Japanese any time in Settings.
Browser Controls
- Steer: Click and drag left or right (or drag with a finger)
- Keyboard: A / D or the Left / Right arrow keys
- Accelerate: Automatic โ your car speeds up on its own after the 3-2-1-GO countdown
- Pause: Pause button, top right: Home, Resume or Restart the race
- Garage: Arrows to browse cars; press the coin price under Speed, Handling or Booster to upgrade it, the big price button to buy a locked car, RACE to start
- Settings: Gear button: music, sound, and Language (English / ๆฅๆฌ่ช)
Special Rules
- The Race: Nineteen cars start together: you and 18 computer-controlled rivals. Each race picks one of six tracks at random โ winding half-pipes, tubes and loop-the-loops โ and the ranking in the top-left corner updates live as you overtake. Your speed is shown in MPH.
- Win or Lose: Only last place loses. Finish anywhere else and it's a win, paid by position: 40 coins for 1st, 32 for 2nd, 26 for 3rd, 22 for 4th, 18 for 5th, 15 for 6th, 12 for 7th, 8 for 8th to 10th and 5 for any lower place. Finish last and the race pays nothing.
- Boost Pads: Striped pads on the track fire your car forward for a few seconds. The Booster stat decides how big that burst is.
- x3 Coins: After a race you win, the x3 button pays that race's coins three more times on top: a 4th place worth 22 coins adds another 66, for 88 in total.
- 18 Cars: You start with Antiope for free. The other 17 cars cost from 150 coins (Fulmine) up to 8,000 (Mistral), and every car has its own base Speed, Handling and Booster.
- Upgrades: Each car's Speed, Handling and Booster can be upgraded ten times. The first upgrade on the starter car costs 25 coins and the price climbs with every level; pricier cars cost more to upgrade.
- Tasks: Four tasks โ win a race, win three races, upgrade your car three times, unlock a new car โ pay 50 coins each. They unlock one after another: finish the current task to open the next.
- Free Coins: The Free tab in Tasks hands out five rewards: 50, 50, 100, 150 and 200 coins. Claim one and the next unlocks five minutes later.
- Progress Saves: Your coins, cars and upgrades are saved in your browser on this device.
Racing Tips
- Hunt the boost pads: Steer onto every striped pad you see โ a boost is the quickest way past the cars bunched up ahead.
- Upgrade before you buy: A fully upgraded Antiope reaches Speed 41, more than the stock Mistral (40) that costs 8,000 coins โ and maxing its Speed costs 925 coins in total.
- Places pay: 1st place pays eight times what 11th does (40 vs 5 coins), so a clean race near the front is worth more than many slow ones.
- Always press x3: x3 turns a 4th-place finish from 22 coins into 88 (22 + 66) โ the biggest single boost to your coin count after every race.
- Collect the extras: The four tasks (200 coins) plus the five free rewards (550 coins) add 750 coins on top of your race winnings โ easily enough for your first car upgrades.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Car Rush?
Car Rush is a free 3D arcade racing game you play in the browser. You race 18 computer-controlled cars on twisting tracks with half-pipes, tubes and loops, win coins by finishing ahead, and spend them on 18 cars and upgrades. No download or sign-up needed.
How do you play Car Rush?
Press RACE, wait for the 3-2-1-GO countdown, and your car accelerates by itself. Steer by dragging left and right with the mouse, or with A/D or the arrow keys. Drive over the striped boost pads and pass as many cars as you can before the finish line.
How many cars and tracks are there?
18 cars and six tracks. The first car, Antiope, is free; the others cost 150 to 8,000 coins. Every race picks one of the six tracks at random.
How do I win a race?
Don't finish last. Any other position counts as a win and pays coins by place โ 40 for 1st down to 5 for 11th and lower. Last place shows the lost screen and pays no coins.
How do I get coins fast?
Finish near the front, press x3 after every win, complete the four tasks (50 coins each) and claim the five free rewards in Tasks > Free (50 to 200 coins, one every five minutes). Upgrading your starter car is cheaper than buying an expensive one.
Is there multiplayer?
No. Car Rush is single-player; every rival car is computer-controlled.
Is the game in Japanese?
Yes. Car Rush opens in Japanese automatically when your browser is set to Japanese or when you play from the Japanese page (playgami.gg/ja/game/car-rush); otherwise it starts in English. You can switch between English and Japanese any time with the Language button in Settings, and the game remembers your choice.
Can I play Car Rush on my phone?
The game supports drag-to-steer with a finger and adapts to portrait and landscape screens. We have tested it in desktop browsers so far, so a computer is the recommended way to play for now.
Does my progress save?
Yes. Coins, cars and upgrades are saved in your browser's local storage on the device you play on. Clearing site data or switching devices starts a new save.
Does it cost anything?
No. There are no real-money purchases; coins come from races, daily tasks and free rewards.
