Browser Controls
- Steer: Move your mouse to guide your snake around the arena — it follows your cursor.
- Eat & Grow: Run over food to eat it. Every bite makes your snake longer and adds to your score.
- Power-Ups: Two pickups: the Magnifier and the Magnet. Collected ones sit as buttons in the bottom-right corner with a count, ready to use.
Special Rules
- Beat the Clock: Each run is timed — rack up as high a score as you can before the timer hits zero.
- 50 AI Rivals: Fifty computer-controlled snakes roam the same arena, each with its own name. Avoid crashing into them — steer clear or cut them off.
- Top-10 Leaderboard: The corner leaderboard shows the ten highest scores in the arena, with you highlighted. It is an in-game list for this run — there is no online ranking.
- Minimap: A round minimap in the top-right corner shows where you and the biggest rivals are, so you can pick a quiet corner to grow in.
- Unlockable Skins: Keep playing to unlock new animal skins for your snake.
Survival Tips
- Keep Moving: Don't linger — food and power-ups keep appearing, and a moving snake is harder for rivals to trap.
- Watch the Timer: With limited time, prioritise nearby food over risky detours across the arena.
- Use the Magnet in Crowds: Save the Magnet for a patch dense with food — it pays off most when there is a lot to pull in.
- Magnifier Before You Cross: Use the Magnifier before cutting across the arena so you can spot long rivals before you are next to them.

Yes to both. You unlock new animal skins for your snake by playing, and the top-10 leaderboard in the corner ranks you against the AI snakes in the current arena. The leaderboard is in-game only — there is no online ranking.
